When does military insurance cover begin and end?

Military insurance covers the duration of the insured person’s period of service. 

Military insurance also covers weekends between two weeks of service or short periods of leave during service. It also covers the journey to and from the place of service. Health and accident insurance are thus not applicable.

Once a claim is accepted, military insurance covers all related costs until the insured person has recovered, with no time limit. It also covers long term sequelae or relapses.
